Hi There Amos,
Hmm... you are acting like this is a new problem... which is the disturbing part...
If you want to truly protect your kids from sex on the internet... don't let your kids on the internet!
Because to be honest if kids are actively looking for sex somewhere... whether it's a library or a street corner or on the tv... they will probably find it... the best thing to do is to teach your kids what healthy sex and sexual relationships are and what they do not include and then hopefully when they stumble upon it on the internet they don't get into the whole...I'm looking at something I shouldn't see guilt shame andlike they are doing something dirty cuz this feeling is addictive in itself... so you would be doing more harm then good in most cases... I think that kids actually learn alot more from the internet than just about sex nowadays anyway...
Above and beyond that if you decide to let them use it...you should be actively monitoring what they are doing on the internet and tell them as much...their computers should be in a common area and have setting on google and yahoo locked on the appropriate search settings... you should probably even make them set their msn chat things to log their chatting... and get rid of the webcam if there is one... that can lead to trouble as well...
I hope this helps you!
