Nervous Mouse

Which driver to update?  Problem with mouse jumping around when not in use.  Directions say to go to device manager - 'Mice and other pointing device' and click on name of driver to update.  I have 2 items listed.  1. 'ALPS pointing device'; 2. 'HID - compliant mouse'.  Update driver and reboot.  Do I click on #1 or #2 before proceeding to update.  They both have an update software selection when you right click. TIA  11/3/2009
