Need advice for bathtub

hey eric i have a question my bathtub has rust right above the drain the round piece right under the faucet and has a few holes in it is there anything i can do to cover the rust up it looks rotted.i cannot afford a new tub right now and my bathroom is so very small you can only fit two people in there i would appreciate it another question my tub is white but the stains will not come off what can i use was told there is a certain paint to renew a bath tub

Yes, there is a certian paint that they use to refinish a tub. There is a lot of prep work that has to be done (sanding) and the paint is a two part mix that has to be sprayed on to look good. (it's also very toxic to breath) You only have a short time to get the paint down before it starts to harden (it's epoxy). You only get one chance to do it right, if not, you get to start all over again.
