Need for Speed: Shift

Is "Need For Speed: Shift" as good as the earlier games in the series? Personally, I like "Need For Speed Carbon" but hated "Need For Speed Undercover". I worry that an all-racetrack (rather than street-racing) game would be not as cool, though. What does everyone think?

Personally, I think the move toward more "realistic" racing is very cool. The tracks and graphics are awesome and all in all it's a fun, challenging racer. Some people have complained about bugs but i haven't experienced any. I recommend it, but you can see more reviews on Amazon: Need for Speed: Shift
