It has been my understanding that you have to go through your s.t. disability plan for a doctor.  they should give you another name if this doctor was not helpful, rude or otherwise unethical.  good luck  janie

where in tampa are you are you looking for a psychiatrist or somone to talk to like a psychologist i know a great psychiatrist in brandon florida her name is dr carrol at bloomingdale psychiatrics and i also know a great psychologist if you dont mind christian let me know though if brandon or plantcity isnt too hard for you to get to i too went through many awful years in my life and didnt like doctors they all seemed like they were just in it for the money to me and didnt realy give a damn but these two have helped me soooo much and i am soo thankful for them

Neurologist question.

I had meningitis and encephalitis in 1967 and was in a coma for 6 weeks. Can that be the couse for parkinson's today.

I live in the area of tampa and if you have insurance or not go to a mental health clinic like North Side Mental Health because they deal with that type of situation all the time. They have counselors that are professional and would know the answer to these type of questions.  They are located on 22nd St in Tampa area.
