Do We Need a New Furnace and Air conditioning System?

Is it just normal usage when there is rust inside our upstairs furnace? We have a two zone heating and cooling system, and a contractor found rust inside the upstairs furnace when he was checking out our cooling system. Apparently the coil has sprung a leak. Please advise.

If you are finding rust anywhere, something is causing condensation to build up. You definetly have a leak somewhere, in which case if it can't be repaired reasonably, it's best to replace it.
