I'm interested in:

In my day job I write about Blood Pressure Treatment and treat those who suffer from blood pressure problems. Low blood pressure is a particular interest and I'm often asked about how to lower cholesterol levels. A healthy heart is becoming a huge focus for many of us nowadays. Improving your blood pressure control and thus the health of your heart and circulation system is really important. My most recent online "adventure" is to start a facility for people to ask me my opinion and to provide high quality health information by answering medical questions online.

I also have a special interest in the problem of feeling Tired All the Time and in those who suffer from chronic fatigue or lethargy. This seems to tie in also to skin care issues or skin treatment problems and suggestions. Tiredness and fatigue can lead to major problems for many individuals in modern society and the way that this can affect all areas of general health can be quite invasive in terms of daily life and coping skills.

My work with footballers and athletes leads to a focus on Painful Shoulder conditions and on the problems associated with frozen shoulder or whiplash injuryRotator cuff injury causes problems for many of my patients.

When not working I daydream about my next amazing european vacation trip  My favorite European cities include Paris and Barcelona and my next blog project will be to write about the best way to spend a night in Paris and how to find an apartment in Barcelona. I just love European travel in all its forms.

Victims of circumstance owe it to fate. Victims of choice owe it to themselves.

One tespoon of salt in a quart of water makes normal saline. This means that the salinity of the solution is equal to that in your body. So I would recommend that you add one and a half teaspoons. And Nuke it before use. Meaning bring it up to your body temperature.

When you have a sore throat it is important to get lots of rest and drink lots of liquids (but make sure you don’t drink any dairy). And while drinking herbal tea can help you feel much better, here’s another way that chamomile tea can give you relief. Brew some chamomile tea and let it cool just enough for you to be able to handle the heat. Soak a white towel in it, wring it out and place it on your throat. Once the towel loses its heat, dip it in the tea again, wring it out and reapply.
Here’s a tea you gargle with, but don’t swallow. Steep three tea bags in a cup of boiling water-use the non-herbal kind-until the tea is very, very dark. Let cool slightly and gargle with the still hot beverage. Remember, don’t swallow. Repeat this every hour until you begin to feel better

A sore throat is an infection that can be either viral or bacterial. It is most commonly caused by a contagious viral infection (such as the flu, cold or mononucleosis), although more serious throat infections can be caused by a bacterial infection (such as strep, mycoplasma or hemophilus). Bacterial sore throats respond well to antibiotics while viral infections do not. For viral infections, there are many natural remedies that you can take to cure a sore throat like the above suggested. Some of these folk remedies work within an hour or two, others take effect overnight.
