Nathan Clutter, Paradise Hotel 2 Suicide

Nathan Clutter, one of the singles contesting on the MyNetworkTV and Fox Reality Channel’s new show Paradise Hotel 2 has coomitted suicide. The show’s broadcast networks have stated he was killed in a climbing accident, but it seems he actually died in an apparent suicide, according to police documents.

The network is airing the show regardless.

Do you think they should drop it?

Isn't it more than a little cynical to go on as planned?

Why are the TV broadcasters lying about what happened to him?  Do they really think that he died climbing, or are they just trying to hide the scandal that one of their contestants was clearly miserable enough to kill himself?  I'm not sure how I feel about this.  If it is proven that he killed himself, I think that maybe a break from the show would be a good idea, to do some investigation, to make sure that the show was not the actual cause of his suicide.  I'm not a big fan of these reality shows and I wouldn't be surprised if he became depressed from the show itself.  I guess we'll see how this all unfolds.

Music is forever.

It's all business. I think it's stupid that the network is lying about how he actually died but I guess they think the show getting any media attention is good and maybe they think they'll get more viewers to tune in.

Personally, I hate and despise this genre, I think that forcing people into a stressful situation that for the love of money and fame makes them expose their nastier sides to the general public who are basically only watching it to see what would be the next horrid and extreme move those people will take to win is one of the saddest signs of our time.

Over the past few years, we have built a lot of celebrities only for the fun of watching them fall. I think that suicide of a contestant in a reality show is just the next natural step on a form of entertainment in which people have to do crazier and crazier stuff just to stay on top of the ratings.

Should they have gone on with the show - probably not, however, in my opinion, they should have stopped with it long before this. Will this get this season the highest rating this show ever had? probably yes.

Man!!!  I was just telling my wife that is was something no right bout that dude and then i seen the memorial at the end of the show bout him,  I thought that he would come back and kill everyone on the show them kill himself......I know that it sounds fuck up but it was just something not right bout him since day one!!!  DUNDEE, AL

No they shouldn't drop the show because he committed suicide.  He showed his personality and did very well showing what a nice guy he is.  We didn't see this depression or what he was going through internally.  It's a shame that he took his life.

MY inferiority complex isn't as good as YOURS

I agree will Lilly more than words can say. These stupid shows are degrading and setting society back.I'm actually suprised PH isn't exploiting his death for ratings.Surely they would think people would tune in to check for suicide warning signs.I'm waiting for them to come forward with fake condolences and a full page ad in the village voice.People are sick.

Nathan done great on PH, and it is very unfortunate that he is no longer with us. However, I believe personally that for a person to in fact take their own lives there is something much deeper then a reality tv show going on for them. Suicide is something none of us will ever fully understand. I had a close family member take his life less then a year ago and we find ourselves looking for someone or something to blame it on. The reality is people, nobody knows why Nathan made this choice only Nathan. All we can do is show our support and send our best to his family and loved ones.

killing your self is wrong!!!!! people.THOU SHALT NOT KILL,he's going to have to face GOD on judgement day it's a mortal sin, and he's going to hell for it. we are children of GOD we as people have to start thinking.America has fallen out of focus about THE FATHER, THE SON, AND THE HOLY SPRIT. We will be judged when it's all said and done...Now play with this statement if you want to!!!!.I'M sorry for his family, because suicide is selfish to your family, and people you will never understand it only GOD and that person that done it does.Frown
