A:

It is unconscionable that a person injured 'enough' to be taken back downhill on a stretcher was not seen immediately by a doctor. This is the truest sense of tragedy in Shakespearian dimensions. What a horrible, sad loss. One can hope that her death may lead to a greater awareness of the potential gravity of seemingly benign injuries so that an event this preventable never happens again.
