Natalie Portman and Devendra Banhart: Beauty and the Beast?

Natalie Portman, one of the prettiest woman in Hollywood today, is dating Devendra Banhart, who is, how should I say it, someone which the word "handsome" doesn't really relate to. Is this a syndrome of "Beauty and the Beast"? Do really pretty women feel guilty enough to date less attractive men?

Many women desire to stand out and don't want a man whose as attractive as she is. Also she feels she will keep him despite his appearance.

I think maybe it's a classic case where his personality , his inner self , is prettier then what we see on the outside.

Music is forever.

Natalie Portman was never one of Hollywood's celebrities that got caught up in the superficial, at least that's how I've always seen her portrayed. I think it's great that she's found someone she can connect with, despite his physical appearance being less than hers.
