No matter what people tell you, words and ideas can change the world.

Like a typical politician, McCain will not come out and support one specific team so as not to loose any votes. Any interesting fact that has to do with McCain and the 2008 Thursday night NFL season opener that will match the Super Bowl-champion New York Giants and the Washington Redskins: the game might start an hour-and-a-half earlier to avoid clashing with the Republican National Convention.

The game is now scheduled for 8:30 p.m. EDT
