Music in TV ads

When you see a commercial on TV, do you often remember the music better than the product?

In my opinion I think you remember the music better. I will give you an example why. When I will hear the music I will recognize the product the advertisement is about, but when I will see the product I can't remember the music from the ad.

Yeah, almost always. I can sometimes link the song to something general like a car but I can never remember the exact product.

Depends on the melody of the music. If it's real catchy, I'm more likely to remember the music (but it doesn't mean that I won't remember the product).
