Do you consider the computer as a musical instrument?
Hmm... that's a good question. A good friend of mine is a musician who produces and peforms music using his computer plus a keyboard. I asked him this question a while back and he said that to him the computer was just a tool for communicating whatever's in his head and he does not consider it to be his "instument", so that's from the expert's mouth so to speak...

Yes, I do. With all the multimedia applications it is capable to support, creating and editing music using computer makes it easier to do the task.
IF you consider your brain is a musical instrument, then a computer is an extension of your brain. I think a better term for the computer is 'music tool'
of course! a computer is the most powerful instrument you can learn to play...i have not yet imagined a sound it is not capable of expressing, just as my mind hears it. but i warn you that it is the most difficult instrument to learn!
