Can you tell me the titles of these 2 movies?
1. The first one is about a baby boy who grows up in the boiler room of a ship at sea. As he gets older he finds his way to the passengers' dining room and discovers that he can play the piano and compose music. He becomes famous and falls in love but never leaves the ship.
2. The other movie is an old black and white with a very young Jimmy Stewart who is a sophisticated city guy who marries a girl so she can get a green card. It is strictly business until he takes her to visit his grandmother who lives in the country. As a result of the humble grandmother's influence, they both go through a change in character, discover what is really important in life, and fall in love. In the end they share a divided room but the wall doesn't go all of the way to the ceiling. He tells her a story about fire flies that are in love and uses his flashlight on the ceiling to illustrate his story.
Any help you can give will be greatly appreicated. I have been trying to remember the titles to these movies for almost a year...I would like to get them for my daughter. . .Thanks!
