Answer 6 out of 6

A:

Actually, Mia, in the movie, they state clearly that you have to take action, by saying, and I'm paraphrasing: "When you have an inspired thought, you should take action and trust in it."  You have to be doing something to allow what you want to happen.  Obviously you can't sit on the couch, visualize a million dollar home, and expect it to come to you in the blink of an eye.  You may want a job, that allows you to have some income, and then through that you find ways to save the money on the downpayment of a million dollar home.  And by thinking positively on that home of your dreams, you allow yourself to be open to the Universe, and can see the path to take to get that home.  Like it is stated, in the book and movie, we're not talking about wishful thinking, or imaginary craziness. And remember, there is a time delay.  If you ever doubted yourself when you quit your job, or were nervous, perhaps that is what put the ball of your life in motion into the direction it took.  And remember, Dr. Joe Vitale states, "everything that surrounds you right now in your life, including the things you're complaining about, you've attracted."  Plus, it is said that feelings are key.  If you ever felt scared, nervous, unsure, then you weren't thinking positively.  Nowhere in the book or movie did it state that you should quit your job.... why would anyone just do that?  Why not visualize a pay increase?  And you even state yourself, from what you've gathered, the people that had success with it, only got it because they got off their backsides and took some action.  Well of course.  Be positive and visualize, but still have some common sense.
