Some of these compensation deals are settled out side of the court.

Here you can read the Indian law carefully from section 105 and down . If you are going to get a lawyer make sure he is a member of the Law society's Panel of personal Injury Specialists.

Whoever rules in hell is still in hell, but they won't rule for long.

Indian law is a separate entity from American law.  Here there is no state-funded compensation for fatalities of any sort except crime victims -- to be paid only after the conviction of the criminal.

The idea is to carry life insurance.  Term policies are inexpensive, but be sure that the company is on the up and square, and that motorcycling is not an excluded cause of death.

I am currently a law student looking to assist people as I'm studying to be a Seattle injury attorney .

I'm not that familiar with Indian law so you may want to schedule a meeting with an attorney who is.
