I have a Intel D845EPT2 motherboard & am wondering ...

I have a Intel D845EPT2 motherboard & am wondering can it take a 1GB memory stick upgrade.  I currently have 512 & 256.  I will paste what I am running below, I am also wondering if there anymore adjustments I had to make before making a processor upgrade from 1.8GHZ to 2.8GHZ I have now?  So far so good, but just in case anyone has a better idea.  Thanks

According to the

specs, the board can take up to 2GB of SDRAM (up to DDR266) in 512Mb technology. Make sure your new processor will show up on this table. Other then that, your configuration is perfectly fine.
 

If you have chip try it if it work go for it but if not you may have to go back to old chip or get new computer
