Moth lifecycle

how long from tersa sphinx moth larvae to moth?  We have two that we found in the garden and are enjoying watching.  This morning they went from fat brown and fat green to sort of skinnier and they are both brown.  They are also not eating as much.  I put a few inches of soil in the bottom of the container because I know they burrow when they pupate.  Any idea how long we have until they pupate and then how long they stay in pupae form before emerging?
