I agree with profitbob; you need to get a lawyer.  Escrow accounts are set up to pay property taxes and other third party payments so you won't have to worry about it every six months.  If the mortgage company hasn't been doing their job by paying your property taxes and/or insurance they are the ones in the wrong.  An attorney specializing in real estate would be the one to help you.  Good luck!
