Wanda, so sorry to hear you have had problems too. i had the Monarc bladder sling put in in 2004. Nothing but problems, urinary tract infections, pain if i sit the wrong way. sex is out of the question, too painfull, but when I see urologist he kept saying all looks good. Now i find out sling was put in too close to outlet where i pee. also I have urinary incontent. You would think the operation would have helped our problems, worse then ever. Ask your doctor for the name of sling you had put in. if he can't tell you. then go to hospital where procedure was done and ask for operation records.
