As with artists, it's very hard to answer who's philosophy would stand the test of times. I'm sure that in Plato and Aristotle's times there were a whole bunch of other philosophers who were forgotten by now. Also contemporary philosophy, is divided to quite a lot of different fields and it depends on what you are interested in.
