Do you read rss feeds on your mobile and if so how often ?
I convert feeds to email and get them sent to a special gmail account, then I foward all mail from this Gmail account to my phone email. When I go on holidays I just turn off the forwarding at Gmail.

some handsets have in built RSS reader. if you mobie has not, as you told, then, by interent accessing through from your mobile, you can get that little software on your mobile and install them. and while adding XML file of your website's collections you can read them.
