Japan and Korean are without a doubt the most advanced markets. Both of them have had mobile video services since 2001, and mobile broadcast TV services since 2005-2006. Next comes Europe, with mobile video services since 2002, and mobile broadcast TV in Italy, Germany and the UK since 2006. However, adoption rates in Europe are still far behind Korea and Japan, which each have several million mobile broadcast TV viewers. USA is close behind Europe in mobile TV, with TV over cellular watched by over a million viewers, and mobile broadcast TV launched by Verizon using MediaFLO technology in March 2007.
