what are the odds of making it into the mlb? and what are the odds of making it to a triple A team? also, can anyone enter spring training with a baseball team?

I don't know odds, but I'm pretty sure your best chance on making it onto the Triple A team or a MLB team, you have to get noticed by someone in the business already.
I would suggest going to a batting cage and talking the owner/manager up there. He will more than likely have some information about some professionals that come to the facility and maybe from that, you can "accidentally" meet him there.

If there are 6 billion people in the world and i would say the about 1/50 of the population play baseball so that would leave about 120 million people that play baseball. There are about 750 active major leage baseball players. But if you add the major leagers and the minor leagers that will be about 4,000 players. So i would say your chance of becoming a major or minor leage player is 1 in 30,000.
