Mixing R22 cond with 410A Coil

I had an 1995 410A bryant 3 1/2 ton condenser bad compressor didn't realize it was 410A because it was so old and rusty, installed a new R22 condenser and it runs perfect 20 degree drop across the A-coil 7 degree superheat 9 degree subcooling and can't believe how good it runs coil has a TXV and it modulates perfectly, But in past I have seen the an R22 TXV on a 410A system and it wouldn't run very good seemed like only half the coil would get cold. Anyone run in to these situations Mike D

The 410-a txv runs at much higher pressure so r-22 works but an r-22 txv can't handle the higher pressure.
