Nah, I don't think she will keep her crown.  I think that there are tons of girls that are just as qualified.  Someone else will be taken, for sure.

I personally don't think she should be able to keep her crown.  They took it away from Vanessa Williams, Miss America, for the same thing.  They should screen the contestants more carefully!

If she hadn't said controversial things, I don't think this would be an issue.  I hope that she isn't persecuted just to further a political agenda.  This country has free speech.  Even though I don't agree with her views, I also don't think she should be persecuted because of her honest answer to the same sex marriage question.  I don't think she should be able to participate with the anti-same sex marriage organization while she holds the title, however.  That makes it seem like the pageant endorses her views.

I dont see the powers that be allowing her to retain her title. Their agenda is to pigeon-hole their representatives, (pagent winners) to promote thier own agenda. The release fo her photo along with the disdain that certain elements of our society have directed at her for standing up for her beleifs sickens me. Her is a woman who is just doing what she believes is right and she was punished for not being politically correct. I am personally proud of her statment and not doing everything she could have to win a crown.

Kathy....The incident with Vanessa Williams was completely different. She was in a lesbian photo shoot for playboy and was totally nude. Take a look at the picture again. This is not a *racy*...Also she was only 17 whereas Vanessa was over 21. I do however agree with you that hey need to screen their contestants better.

God used Ms Prejean to let the world know that His Law does not and will not change the rule of marriage being between a man/woman because of some worldly crown.  He's letting the world know that He is still in charge and that you nor I can give this young lady a just reward, for that crown you are trying to take away is going to rust and burn up along with who ever wears it in the end and they are not right with God.  God is sending this planet a message through the media and many are not listening. Man with man nor woman with woman can produce after it's kind, so why get involved with this filthy lifestyle.  Think about it, the world would end, because there would be no more production.  This lifestyle is not in the mind of God.  Thanks for listening, and know that your earthly crown means nothing.

Albert,

A 17 year old posing in underwear with part of breast exposed would be considered porn and would get you arrested if you e-mailed it to your friends.

It seems that the Public and some critics are blowing this thing way out of control. She didn't pose for any nudie magizines, just her lingerie one and it was tastful. God put us on this earth to produce and multiply. If same sex marriages prosper, what is going to happen to people?? Think about it folks?? Duh...
