Does anybody have any ideas about the cost of owning and operating a minor league hockey team? I mean, monetary. I know you have to have acess to a rink, and then equipment, players, coaches, etc. But, ballpark figures?

This article was written in 2005 and had to do with a team in the Central Hockey League. At the time the figure being tossed around was $500,000 as the minimum sale price. Here is another article that is about a minor league team in Greensboro, North Carolina.
