In order to better understand the essence of humour and laughter, I look for jokes that can be expressed with a minimal number of words. I don't mean illustrated jokes or jokes that involve body language, because an illustration is worth a thousand words; I mean jokes that are composed of words only, and a minimal number of them, but still be considered funny.
Here is an example of a well-known 7-word joke, which I find very funny:
"Capitalism: person abuses person.
Communism: the opposite"

"Dyslexics of the world, untie" - took me several minutes to understand (I am not a native English speaker), but now it seems like a very good minimal joke. Actually, it can be rephrased as: "World dyslexics, untie!" which makes it a 3-word joke.
