My wife brings in her 2006 Honda Accord and has a simple oil change. The right front tire had a pin hole and needed to be patched from the inside. They could not find any problems, so she called me while I was on the road elsewhere. I insisted they take the tire off and put it in a pale of water and find the leak. I was infuriated they plugged the $200.00 steel belted tire and ruined it. Plugging is illegal in Florida and is very dangerous in any case. I called the dealer and asked for the service manager and let them know this repair was unacceptable and I was to stop payment through my bank on the tire service. The next day I went to Tire Pros and found out the hole was enlarged and was unable to be repaired properly due to their bad judgement and reckless endangerment to my family. I now need a new tire, as this tire was not fixed correctly and I intend to get a replacment tire for their actions. This kind of dealership is terrible. I used Kolbe Honda in Reseda, California and never had any problems like this. These tires had 41,000 miles and has 5/32 tread left. I recommend you never take your car there as you will be ripped of and treated badly. I will call the bank and have a reverse on both oil and tire tranactions. I was so angry I nearly had to spend $1000.00 on a new set of tires just because they are lazy and did not fix the Z rated tire correctly. I will not let this go easy! They will invariably have to deal with me, this week and make this right. On the next business day I contacted the service manager; Sarkis Torosyan and explained the situation to him. He opted to send out to my home, at no charge, a brand new replacment tire making things right. I still hope they discontinue plugging tires. I would not go back there to have the tire installed or to pick up a new tire. However, the service manager did the right thing. I will not dispute the oil change or tire services at two locations. I now have a brand new Michelin to replace the plugged tire. Bravo! This Miller Honda dealership in Culver City, CA has at least earned my trust. I hope they never plug another tire in the State of California. Thank you, CSG
