No, there is no longer a draft. Once you hit the age of18, you are an adult, and make your own choices. The moderen military is a voluntary enlistment. The only other thing is, if the youth is of at least 17 and has a criminal trial, the judge may order the youth to join a branch of the military or serve time in jail/prison along with obtaining a high school diploma or equal certificate.
