Miley Cyrus on American Idol

I usually really like Miley but I was not that impressed by her performance. I was kind of disappointed! Honestly, my guess is that Simon would have probably told her that she was acting too old and dramatic for her age. She's usually really fun and young in her performances but this one felt like a 30 year old singing! Maybe she was trying something new and more serious but it didn't work for me.

she was using her hands too much. it's a slow song so she should be prepared for that. but she was being over dramatic and annoying, i almost couldn't watch it.

I am NOT normally a fan of hers BUT i thought the song she sang last night was BEAUTIFUL. She did move her hands a little too much though!!

I think she'd make it though.  You were right though, she didn't seem very enthustiastic about the performance though.  Maybe with it being a pre taped thing she was just going through the motions.

I saw her on american idol and she was stiff didn't move and no energy at all. She acted as though she didn't want to be there. If she were a contestant she would have been voted off by that performance.

The contestents were betteer
