You can work with children who cant leave their home. You should do what you think would be best for you.

My husand is a nurse. He has been in that profession for about 20 years also. Have you considered teaching? Just this last year he has started teaching beginning nursing. There are lots of courses you could teach. Basic science. anatomy. biology, nusing 101. Good luck, whatever you decide.

Do you have your Masters degree? You might consider going back to school yourself.A Masters degree will open up new opportunities for you such as hospital administration.

i chuckled when I read this answer, but really? I wonder if that is an opportunity?

I will look up the training involved.

You may need some add-on qualifications to your existing ones.

These tips you may find here - Job Interview Process - the interview stages

Step one in making a career change is rather simple and probably even fun. All you really need to do is make a list of things you like and things you don't like. This, of course, gives you a clear indication of what best career change would be suited for you. Obviously, if you hate to drive then the trucking industry probably doesn't need you applying to their team. When you find something that you like and are great at then you are really on the right path toward happy career changes.

Step two in your career change objective list is matching your interests and likes, and hopefully skills, with careers that are likely to interest you and pay you enough. Taking the time to fully research career choices based on your personal preferences for job skills will uncover some interesting surprises. Sometimes you will pull up a career that doesn't share a lot of common ground but is unique and interesting and therefore, fun. Making career change work might mean that most of the fun comes from discovering what new and interesting ideas work for you.

Step three when you need career change plans to feel like you are getting through the process reasonably is to simply determine which skills you already have for completing the career transfer and which skills you still need to develop.

Step four follows step three with making sure that you receive the education and specified training that you will need in order to meet your career change objective.

Step five will not only help you determine which career is right for you but also might link you to people you will want to see a demo. Some of the most important career change advice you will ever hear is to learn the importance of networking. Networking can mean the difference between starting a career change and dreaming of one.

Sometimes, like in step six , you have to be willing to eat some of it, drink some of it, and of course, be wary of some of it. This means you will need to drum up some experience before you can transition from one career to another. Experience is often the best teacher and you need to at least develop some part time experience in the career field of your choice in order to start being considered for the full time career change. Making a career change takes a dedicated effort.

Step seven illustrates the absolute value in reveling in another's knowledge in order to get where we want to go. The best career change needs a mentor to help guide you over some of the rougher patches. Step eight reminds us that not all of those who need career change plans have to leave their company. For some, staying within the company with a different career is flexible for them while others need to experience new careers, new faces, and even new foods.

Steps eight and nine are knowing how to abide by the job hunting skills you have, and have their basic qualifications match as closely to those listed when you make a career change

Step ten simply reminds us to be flexible, that we are all looking for our own idea of perfection but that it most often comes in the surprise package formula. Making career change plans can improve your entire life with just one decision.
