Mid level kitchen knives

I'm sick and tired of cheap kitchen knives which pretend to be "Chef" knives but doesn't really cut. On the other hand I don't want to spend too much money on Real Chef knives. Is there any recommendation about a Mid level company which manufacture good knives at a reasonable price?

dance as if nobody's looking

I have purchased in the States while visiting an "ever sharp pro" knife by Henckels international. It was 6 years ago. The knife still cut very smoothly.

I cant recall the price but it was moderate one.

Never the less , I strongly recommend to have 1 good knife in the kitchen. Save so much time and energy.

Best regards

I tried a knife once, it was one of the bests knives I've tried, it belonged to a chef friend of mine.  when I've looked for it on the web I saw it on amazon, it looked quite cheap, and from my expirience very much worth it.

I would try

"Victorinox" a tiny bit expensive but whoever understands a little about  knives knows them well, they last long and they do the job.
