Microwaving food

Speaking health, How does the microwave affect my food value? If I have the option, should I use the Toaster oven instead?

Although some people feel this is a new technology and therefore cannot be trusted, I can't understand how microwaving can essentially change the food's ingredients. It does change the moisture levels. I have to admit I prefer to use other means of heating food, but only because I think it tastes better.

Microwaving at this point is not new technology on a relative level.

Microwaved Vegetables are able to keep more of it's food value then boiling because the food does not get lost in the excess water.
