Methotrexate injection question

How long does it take for the injection Methotrexate (used to stop an ectopic pregnancy) to go through womans body? And when will it be safe for the woman to try to get pregnant again?

The ectopic pregnancy should be gone within 72 hours at the latest.

You should probably make sure it is all gone because this could be dangerous.

I know of women who got pregnant the following cycle (my sister...), but it's probably best to consult your doctor just to make sure.
