Metabolism rate

Is there any measurement I can take to know how high is my metabolism at rest. I've heard many discussing the issue and would like to know where do I fit?

There are a couple machines out there that do this. One is called MedGem or BodyGem. You have to breathe into it while sitting still for 10 mintues. Many wellness centers or upscale gyms offer this.
