Asked about “AOL Mail Help”

Message status/unsend

Will "message status" and "unsend" be restored?  Is there another email that has these features?  I want web-based, but am willing to pay a fee to have these features.  Thanks !

AOL Mail - Community Support Team

The status feature was removed from webmail with the most recent release.  It is still available if you are using AOL 9 or AOL Desktop software.  You can read more about this and other changes on the AOL Mail Blog.

Also, "message status" and "unsend" are not Internet standard features - in other words other email services don't offer them.  The primary reason for this is that only work within a given email network but not across email providers.
