Hi, We are cat lovers. We have four adults and one kitten. We recommend a product we found called NuVets Plus. (we are not vets, do not own any company stock,etc.) but this stuff really works. You mix it into their food. Or, pick up some brewers yeast (powdered) in a healthfood store and rub it into their coats daily during flea season. Rub it deep into their skin. Fleas, ticks or even mosquitos wont bite them because it tastes horrible to these pests. Dont mix this powder into their food because they wont like it, but cats love the taste of NuVets Plus. If you buy brewers yeast get a good brand from a reputable healthfood store. Not baking yeast used for bread, but brewers yeast. And especially NOT TORTULA yeast because it tastes more than horrible , even to people. Also, a shampoo made of Dawn liquid dish detergent, and warm water works good, too. Be careful not to get it in their eyes. Dip a warm washcloth in it for their faces. After shampooing, rinse with warm water and 2 or 3 tablespoons of lemon juice. Again, avoid their eyes. They will not have any ticks or fleas, guaranteed.
