Mercades Nichols and Dr. Phil

The Dr. Phill show decided not to invite Mercades Nichols to the show, even though they paid the bond. Apparentely the show's boundaries were compromised.

Do you think they should have paid the bond?

And, having paid, should they have gone and invited her to join the show?

What does it mean that teenage girls who  beat up other teens become celebrities?

I'm guessing they weren't too happy about this breaking news, though possibly it's better than the divorce story going now.

It says we're a nation hooked on reality TV, to the extent that we're willing to see "snuff" movies, provided we can talk to the people after. But basically these are the fundamentals of the Dr. Phil Show, so it shouldn't surprise anyone.

I feel that again Dr. Phil has involved himself in something beyond his line of work (licensed or not).  While this (these) girl(s) has/have real problems, first they need to deal with the legal and moral consequences of their actions.  There is permanent physical and mental damage to the victim and  - they are the cause.  Now pay the price through the legal system as  the adults you think you are.   The celebrity should be the young lady who suffered this beating and humiliation. She has many years of agony ahead of her.  Don't get me started on Dr. Phil and what he has become-rather than who we thought he was.

Children are God's gift to the world...

The show should not have bailed the teen out. What she and the other teen girls did was completely unacceptable and they should have spent more time in the jail than they did. I'd like to see an end to the Dr. Phil show. I'm sick of seeing this guy pretend to help others when the reality is he's only out for himself.

MY inferiority complex isn't as good as YOURS

I heard about this a few days ago and I'm STILL mad.Why should she get bailed out when any other kid who committed her type of crime is still sitting their ass in jail?He is rewarding this type of behavior by giving her a free ride.I know she will face criminal charges...but her family should have had to come up with bail money just like everyone else. And what about the victim? How does Dr.Phil think this makes her feel? Her assailant is out on bond and everyone wants to talk to her so she can justify her actions, but the girl who got beat on is sitting at home licking her own wounds. As usual,Dr.Phil is in over his big shiny head and blaming it on other people.

He annoys me.

Never give up on life.

I have to agree with MusicIsMyHotSex. Dr. Phil overstepped his boundaries and as Fatherof5children said, I hope his show gets canned from tv.

Dr. Phil is a scumbag fraudulent loser who needs to be taken off the air and have a muzzle put over his mouth so he has to keep it shut the rest of his life. The jerk makes my skin crawl and the sooner his 15-Minutes of Fame expire and he can crawl back in the hole he came from the better off we will all be. I a tired of his "I am better than you and don't you ever forget it" attitude and have been Since Day 1. Dr. Phil - GET LOST!
