What are the best butt exercises for men? All my research has found only the female's pereprctive on glute training. From the male perspective, would the training be the same, just heavier and more intense?

To say nothing, especially when speaking, is half the art of diplomacy.

I found two excellent web sites for you that contain the specific information you are looking for.

Victims of circumstance owe it to fate. Victims of choice owe it to themselves.

I have always liked sitting on the couch with the remote. Big and flabby every time.

Butt seriously, folks. The gluts (gluteus maximus is the main butt muscle), are an extensor of the femur.  This means that you need to do exercises starting with your hips flexed (close to your belly) and extend them (assume a standing position) against resistance.  Reverse sit ups come as close as anything that I am aware of.  Squats are very good, but are much more inclusive in the muscle groups that they work.

go to the gym and the machines should have pictures of what each machine works out..it's very helpful man..and usually when your doing butt exercises if you don't feel challenged anymore you can always get dumbbells and put them between your feet or between your knees while doing these exercises.

I think an Arnold Schwarzenegger workout will work to shape a butt.  I think men's training routine would be a  lot different when it comes to  intensity and weights.

Changing others begins by changing yourself first

Simply lie on your back with both your knees bent as if you are about to do sit ups. With both of your feet flat on the floor your simply raise your buttocks off the ground slowly. With proper breathing technique it should work. Do the repetitions slowly and smoothly.

I am doing squats and so far it's the best exercise for me.

If you want muscle then the squat is the best exercise for developing the glutes, if your looking to tone the butt then I would suggest jogging.
