Menopause or Depression

I am 40 years young, had a hysterectoy at 32 and am experiencing menopause signs. I am a nightmare to live with due to mood swings and lack of sleep. Is it the menopause or depression?

I'm sure that it could be a mixture of both. I can tell you from my own personal experience that my hormones went extremely wacky when I went into menopause, which was also early, and for awhile I was also very hard to be around. You just need to get your hormones balanced and everything will start to come right again. Good luck.

Newly Republican as of  October of 2009..I feel children and women should come before men..Only real men don't cheat in relationships

Mood swings , Depression ,Anxiety  comes with Menopause ..I would talk  to the doctor  who can  put you on  a  hormone replacement therapy , I think you  would  feel better ..But  you  got  watch taking  Estrogen therapy   too  long can  cause  breast cancer ..But  that  does not mean that will happen

All things natural

It sounds like menopause to me and the mood swings can be devestating. I've been through it. Hormone replacement has side effects that could be dangerous. If you would to know some very helpful natural remedies I would suggest taking a look at this.  http://matijew1.CLTAYLOR5.hop.clickbank.net

Actually there are some symptoms that come with menopause. Depression is one of them.  Have a look the mental and behavioral symptoms of depression:

•    Moodiness, feeling weepy
•    Irritability, lowered tolerance
•    Feeling guilty
•    Unable to cope, feeling helpless and inadequate
•    Problems in relationships, at home and at work
•    Sense of blackness, which nothing can penetrate
•    Losing a sense of who you are, having a skewed perception of reality
•    Can't concentrate or make decisions
•    Constantly worried and anxious
•    Lose interest in sex
•    No motivation, no enjoyment of life
•    Thinking about death or contemplating suicide as a way out - if this describes your state of mind, please seek help from your doctor at once.
If you have four or more of these symptoms of depression, you could have slipped into a depressed state without even realizing it.
Fortunately, there are treatments for depression, natural remedies and self-help strategies that can help you feel better.
Wish you all the best.
