I have a Sony DSC-S40 camera that I bought about two years ago. The prices of memory sticks then were probably much higher than they are today, because I bought a small one (can't remember the size, probably 256mb). I see now that the prices are quite low, and I want to buy a new one.
Is there a limit to the size of memory stick that this camera can read (like old versions of Windows couldn't use more than 4gb of memory), or will it handle anything I buy?
Sony indicates that a 4 GB memory stick (Memory Stick PRO or High Speed Memory Stick PRO) will work for the DSC-S40 camera. (
The camera can handle any memory stick that physically fits it. As bigger the stick, you have more room for the pictures, there's no other influence on the camera but that.
Cool, thanks.
