Hi, Unfortunately there is not a method or an invention yet to stop Chapstick from melting. If it's hot, those things happen of course, and the extra heat from your body definitely doesn't help to keep the Chapstick solid. I would like to suggest Carmex to you. It is not a tube, but a small-like pill box with a screw top. It is better than Chapstick in my opinion and cost about $1.29 in stores. Sometimes you can find them on register counters. If you haven't tried it, then you must at least make one attempt. I am CERTAIN you will never use a tubed Chapstick again. With Carmex, you would not need to worry about it melting and it's an Excellent product. I'm telling you the truth as I am not getting paid for promoting the product -- I'm just letting you know that it is so much better. I convinced my husband to switch from the Chapstick Tube (he was addicted). Now he uses Carmex.
