So going on an egg diet 3 times a week, is not healthy? Even if it means eating 6 eggs with yolks and 6 egg whites?
depends on ur age.if u r under 35 then 6 whole eggs per week are safe.but u need to cut down on other non-veg foods,n oily stuff overall n combine it with exercise.c,1 egg has 200 mcg of cholesterol n daily limit is 250.u get my point?

actually...the american heart association recommends that all adults keep their dietary intake of total cholesterol <300mg (not micrograms) per day. as we all know, cholesterol is found in any food derived from an animal (meat/fish, cheese, yogurt, eggs, etc.)
your genetic predisposition for hypercholesterolemia and your other dietary/exercise habits are also important factors in your question about your egg yolks.
an egg yolk actually has closer to 250mg of cholesterol...i would not receommend anyone eat an egg yolk per day. try egg beaters...they have egg beaters that are made out of egg whites only that are much better for you. all of the nutrition from an egg is found in the egg white anyway...the yolk is nothing but cholesterol. i.m sure you are eating other dietary sources of cholesterol.
the best "diet" is a healthy, balanced diet EVERY DAY and incorporation of physical activity.
ok.going by the recent research,6 whole eggs per week pose minimum risk[4%].but the risk of fats still remains.so,better to eat egg whites which r very healthy n almost devoid of fat.
