First, with todays'economic pressures I feel it would not be a good idea for anyone to  freelance .   You mention having taken a course for medical writing.  Does that mean you have only had ONE course?  If so, you are not ready.  Your best decision would be to get more education and work for an agency or company before venturing out on your own.  Medicine is one fascinating  world and things are changing daily.  You must be on your toes for every change that occur. I also feel that the best teacher is experience itself.  Get some!  Brenda
