I don't have any experience in the field to which you refer, but I can suggest one thing you should do, to start.
Learn how to spell.
Your question is riddled with typographical errors. If this is an example of the quality of your 'writing,' then it will be next to impossible for you to find a job writing so much as a postcard.
Please educate yourself. Buy (and use) a dictionary. Also, be sure to check and doublecheck your work before submitting it.
Everyone makes mistakes, but mistakes made in carelessness or laziness do NOT make you look professional. You may wish to keep that in mind.
Medical transcription is very much in demand! Australia, you would have to get intel from aust. to find out what they need.
You have to start out, Who has ever gotten a job without knowing what it is or knew what it was about!
Yes, there is some truth to that.
However, this person wants to get a job WRITING.
If someone is applying to my office for a position as a writer, then I expect him or her to reflect an ability to write - which means knowing how to spell; or at the very least knowing how to use Spell Check!
First, with todays'economic pressures I feel it would not be a good idea for anyone to freelance . You mention having taken a course for medical writing. Does that mean you have only had ONE course? If so, you are not ready. Your best decision would be to get more education and work for an agency or company before venturing out on your own. Medicine is one fascinating world and things are changing daily. You must be on your toes for every change that occur. I also feel that the best teacher is experience itself. Get some! Brenda
