Medical causes of excessive sweating?

Do you know what are the medical causes of excessive sweating?

I sweat way too much under my armpits and on my face and hands, I'm not overweight. I wear darker clothes to hide the sweat marks, it's really embarrassing.

I've tried strong underarm deodorants and antiperspirants etc.

Can anyone help, do you know of a home remedy for excessive sweating, or can you give advice on how to stop underarm sweating and hand, neck and facial sweating?

Thanks.

Funny thing is you should Drink more water to lower your body temperature.

A lot of people are confused by this remedy - They think if they drink more water then they will sweat more. This is incorrect - drinking more water cools your core temperature and will also alleviate some of the excessive sweating.

There's a current buzz about injecting Botox to stop excessive sweating. If you don't mind some minor pain and the cost, Botox definitely works however do know that the cure is only temporary as repeated treatments will be required every 4-7 months to prevent the condition from recurring.

What causes a body sweat excessively? Not underarm sweating, but rather facial and body sweat?

Especially when your out among public, talking with friends or shopping.

Could anti-anxiety medication also cause excessive sweating?
