Have Maytag SDG4606AWW gas dryer. Have rumbling noise but only after getting hot. Can be run on air only with no problem. Definately heat sensitive. I've replaced drum belt, idler pully and both drum rollers. No help. The blower is not loose and is in good condition. I found the temperature control to be defective. I fixed the control but the noise is still there and getting louder. I have a feeling that something has been damaged by the overheating that has been going on for months. The machine is only about 4 years old and does dry OK but the noise sounds like it's going to fall apart. Again this only happens when heated-up. ANY IDEAS???
