What is the matching color for orange? What will be harmonious? Are there rules that objectively differentiate between matching colors and mismatching ones?
According to the color circle, since orange is comprised of the two base colors red and yellow, the last base color, blue, is the complementary color.
The other pairs are yellow and purple, and green and red.

Hi,Blue + orange is too "noisy" for me... it's a sort of a shout: "Here I am, watch me".... too extrovert as per my taste.... a small piece of blue on a big orange background could be nice.... (and vice versa). Best regards,

I guess it's all a matter of taste and it depends on what is the purpose of these 2 colors combination. Sky + Sun, which is blue and orange is a great match. But I won't paint my room wall with this combination.
