Mary Kate Olsen Celibate but Drinks and Smokes

Just because Mary Kate isn't having sex, this doesn't mean that she has never touched guys before.  It just means that she's not willing to throw her life away like the Spears sisters have done... and ruin all that she has worked for, by being reckless with sex.  Having sex is something that actually has meaning for some women, and I don't see why it should be so shocking that Mary Kate is waiting to give up her virginity.  OK, so she smokes and drinks... there's really no connection between these things and having sex, in my opinion.

I agree with dreadlocks. There does not need to be a connection between alchohol, smoking, and sex. They do not all come in a package. It would be unfortunate to think that all people that drink and smoke are having sex, and that all people that have sex, drink and smoke!

I fail to understand  packaging sex, drinking and smoking into one package. Giving up virginity is a  total and complete act that can never be returned to what it was before. Smoking and drinking  in moderation  does not have  the same ramifications.

I have to disagree with everyone on this. I don't buy this innocent act for a minute. I think she's a terrible role model. I don't believe for a second this girl is still a virgin. Are you forgetting that this is the same Olsen twin that was caught in public making out with Lance Armstrong? It's not that she

just because somebody smokes and drinks,does it mean that they're having sex!it could be true and really who cares?it's up to her what she does with her life!i also heard that her and her sister have cancer,so they shouldn't be smoking or drinking,cause that will only make it worse!

Well, I agree that a person could smoke and drink and not have sex.  Maybe for some people, smoking and drinking is a good substitute for the pleasure of sexual activity.

But I hope that no one treats Mary-Kate Olsen as a role model.  I wouldn't be surprised to find out that she was claiming to be celibate when she really wasn't.
